In his youth, he volunteered at the Union Gospel Mission dental clinic and found his calling in dentistry. Dr. Truong’s own childhood dentist taught him the value of helping people; it served as an inspiration for pursuing dentistry. Dr. Truong later trained as a dentist here in the Pacific Northwest (UW) and in the Midwest (IUPUI). After his education and training, Dr. Truong worked with underprivileged children in rural Arizona and New Mexico. He then returned home to beautiful Washington State to live closer to family. Dr. Truong now lives in Clark County, Washington with his two kids. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
